Mango Chutney

This is an Anglo-Indian style chutney. The long slow cooking in sugar and vinegar gives the fruit content a slightly waxy texture. The sweetness of the mango is offset by tangy tamarind, amchoor and a chilli kick.
Pair with chicken tikka, or any dry-spice roasted chicken dish and pappodoms. Nice with soft and /or milder cheeses.
